Lectures capture services.
Full range of lecture capture support including direct
classroom/presentation recordings (audio/video), management and
assistance in the use of Camtasia Relay. Research and
development of future classroom based systems.
Electronic media consultations.
Best practices/use of audio and video for both traditional and web
based courses.
Electronic media creation/conversion for in-class and web based delivery.
Audio and digital video creation to support instruction. Lab demos,
faculty absences, streaming media files, media for direct download
by students. Etc. File conversions to appropriate web formats.
Web conferencing/Webcasting support.
Advise and assist in the use of web conferencing solutions, including
the use of programs like Windows Live Meeting, Skype, etc. Work
with faculty it integrate this type of technology into the classroom or
to augment web based courses.
University Studio Support.
Work with the Communications department to facilitate the use of
the university television studio. Record classes, class
demonstrations and performances for class delivery.
Facilitate special needs media.
Work with faculty and staff to provide media resources for special
needs students.
Continually research and develop emerging technologies for course use.

enhancements including undergraduate, graduate and faculty research

Demonstrations and presentations of various equipment, systems, and

Passport photos for students and faculty participating in UWSP
International Programs
Continue to work with College Support staff to further develop classroom
manuals (classroom tech guides)

Digital asset management - develop and maintain an online resource of

DESIGN SERVICES
 Creative assistance and design support for face-to-face classroom, on-line
courses, poster sessions, educational grants, training, special projects or
presentations
 Image scanning, manipulation and retouching for educational materials, in
compliance with copyright laws
 Instructional illustration, including charts, graphs, models, processes,
cartoons, etc.
 Advise and assist faculty on creating personal web sites and publishing
attractive, standards-compliant course materials to the web
 As needed, advise and assist faculty with student-constructed electronic
portfolios
 Advise and assist faculty and staff in the use of SharePoint, particularly
preparing materials for publishing to web pages
 Consult on accessible media design for online courses
 Provide reference materials and one-on-one support for faculty on key
tasks and helpful techniques to help them effectively prepare educational
materials for face-to-face and on-line environments
 Coordinate with the Teaching & Learning Resource Network to support
design needs for teaching and learning with technology
