• Volunteers can sign up (so I can have an

• On the 24th we will begin creating a
new ecosystem around our
greenhouse. We will be building
raised beds, planting new plants,
and revitalizing the front of our
school getting rid of the overgrowth
from the summer. Meeting place to
determine jobs at 8:30 in the front
of the building.

Walnut Creek Wetlands
• Environmental stewardship/community
service cleaning up trash
• Water testing- We are now submitting
water quality assessments to the City of
Raleigh storm water management.
• Observations of all living things in the
ecosystem
• Students learn the benefits of the wetlands,
especially in regard to the Neuse River and
the Atlantic ocean
