Manage the Ipes Group Marketing function
Guardian of the Ipes brand
Execute the duties of the role diligently and professionally
Deliver the Ipes Client Charter
Act in accordance with the Ipes Code of Conduct
Develop effective working relationships
Train junior staff within the team
Support and foster collegiate and friendly interpersonal relationships at all levels
To promote the profile of the Company
To support the Groups business development initiatives

Ensure the high quality of the team’s output
Review and sign off team’s work
RESPONSIBLITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
To promote and protect Ipes and its brand, contribute to the generation of new business
revenue, ensure the business is presented consistently internally and externally
Key Responsibilities
Marketing strategy planning
• Work with the CEO to set marketing strategy
• Overall responsibility for annual marketing plan and budget
• Work with the Senior Team to establish and deliver marketing plans
Brand and market positioning
• Management of the Ipes brand (external and internal) and its positioning in
market
• Oversee consistency in how the brand is represented across all touch points,
internally and externally
PR and Communications
External:
• On going management and development of media relations with communications
agency, local trade and industry press
• Responsibility for press releases on our website and other forms of media
• Oversee social media activity
Internal:
• Provide updates to business on marketing initiatives and company positioning as
needed
• Provide regular updates to board on marketing initiatives / developments
• Manage internal communications program across all offices
• Manage the Group Intranet and develop the platform with assistance from the
Marketing Assistant
Marketing materials
• Responsibility for development of corporate marketing materials such as
brochures, pitch documents, fee proposal templates, correspondence templates,
technical articles, newsletters etc. in line with requirements of the business
• Overall responsibility for on-going development of ipes.com, social media profiles
and email campaigns.
• Manage agency relations (design and digital)
Development of People
• Ensure that all marketing staff have individual development plans, hold regular
one to one meetings and ensure that the skill mix within the team is appropriate
• To specifically provide the necessary coaching to other Managers to ensure the
delivery of brand is consistent

Meeting the Company’s objectives, delivering brand consistency, managing reputation,
industry-leading profile, and new business referrals.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Ability to set and meet objectives and to produce timely reports to the Company

Knowledge of the Private Equity space or ability to quickly acquire that working
knowledge.
•
Brand management experience in a professional services business
•
Experience in the delivery of a suite of marketing materials – both printed and online.
•
Experience of interacting with press and PR agencies
•
A high degree of personal gravitas, able to mix readily with senior professionals.
•
Expert command of both spoken and written English.
•
Ability to reflect and review your actions and motivate yourself and your team
•
Think creatively and deliver pragmatic solutions
•
Strong IT skills
•
A confident manner and the ability to use appropriate styles of communication with
clients or other external parties
•
An ability to work under pressure
•
Possess personal qualities of integrity, good communication and discretion

CIM - Chartered Institute of Marketing or other professional marketing qualification
