1. NRI Spot Admission for M.Sc. Marine Geology & Geophysics
Kochi: The Dept. of Marine Biology and Geophysics is conducting NRI
spot admission for one seat vacancy in M.sc Marine Geophysics and two
vacancies in M.Sc Marine Geology on 25th July at 10.00a.m. at Dept. office.

2. JRF Vacancy in National Centre for Aquatic Animal Health
Kochi: National Centre for Aquatic Animal Health, Cochin University of
Science and Technology invites applications from postgraduates in Life
Science having NET/BET qualification or with M.Tech degree in
Biotechnology to be appointed as Junior Research Fellow in a DBTBBSRC-DFIC project with Fellowship of Rs. 25000/-p.m.+20% HRA for I
& II year and as SRF with Rs. 28000/-p.m.+ 20% HRA for the third year.
Qualified candidates have to report National Centre for Aquatic Animal

5. Short term Course in Communicative English
Kochi: Applications are invited for admission to evening batch of Shortterm Course in Communicative English, having 100 hours duration
conducted by the Dept. of English and Foreign Languages, Cusat.
Applicants should have a pass in Plus Two/CBSE or equivalent examination.
Applications can be obtained from the Dept. of English and Foreign
Languages at the Main Campus at Thrikkakara on all working days from
04:00 p.m to 06:00p.m. on payment of Rs. 100. The course fee is Rs. 6000
and the course will commence on 25th June 2016 at Thrikkakara Main
Campus, Cusat.

6. Padma Shri. Dr. S. K. Pal at Cusat
Kochi: Distinguished Scientist and Former Director of Indian Statistical
Institute, Culcutta, Padma Shri. Dr. S. K. Pal will deliver a talk on
“Granular Mining and Rough-fuzzy Computing: Data to knowledge and Big
