The Division of Applied Sciences & Humanities, School of Engineering, CUSAT is conducting
a Short Term Training Programme on ” Mathematical Models in Data mining Process” for Faculty
members/Research Scholars/M.Phil/M.Tech./ M.Sc students during 4th to 8th April 2016.
The purpose behind the programme is to enhance research capabilities of Faculties/
Scholars/ students by making Mathematical Models in the field of Applied Mathematics. The
deliberations of this short term training programme will give a thorough exposure about the recent trends
and applications on Data mining concepts and techniques, fuzzy algebra and modeling using MAT lab,
Mathematical Morphology, neural networks and modeling using MAT lab, Wavelet Analysis and
optimization techniques.
