Summer, Autumn, Spring
Spring
Sprig I love very much. Spring is the season after
winter and before summer. Days become longer
and weather gets warmer in the temperate zone
because the Earth tilts towards the Sun. In many
parts of the world plants grow and flowers
bloom. Often people with hay fever suffer more,
because of the allergens. Many animals have
their breeding seasons in spring. In many parts
of the world it rains for hours. This helps the
plants, grow and the flowers bloom.
At the start of spring, people suffering from
seasonal affective disorder will feel better. The
spring months are: March, April, May.
Summer
I like summer very much. The summer months
are: August, july, june. Summer is the hottest
of the four temperate seasons, falling between
spring and autumn. At the summer solstice,
the days are longest and the nights are
shortest, with day-length decreasing as the
season progresses after the solstice. The date
of the beginning of summer varies according to
climate, tradition and culture, but when it is
summer in the Northern Hemisphere it is
winter in the Southern Hemisphere, and vice
versa.
Autumn
I like autumn very much. The autumn months
are: September, October, November.
In September summer yields to autumn. The
days become shorter and the nights become
longer. The sun rays are not so bright and warm.
October is the best month for planting trees.
People also prepare for winter. It is a season
when the trees are fantastic — yellow, red,
green and brown. The trees are loosing their
leaves.
Now the ground is like a carpet of many colours.
It gets dark earlier and often heavy clouds cover
the sky bringing rain. Birds don’t sing their
songs. They begin to leave for warm
countries. November is the month of fog, rain
and snow. Autumn is the season after summer
and before winter. In many places, autumn is a
time for harvesting most crops. Deciduous trees
(trees that lose their leaves every year) lose
their leaves, usually after turning yellow, red, or
brown. In many countries, autumn is the time a
new school year starts.
