The aortic leaflets have been removed to show the muscular components (arrows) in the right (R) and left (L) coronary aortic sinuses that may be ablated for aortic sinus ventricular tachycardia. B. The aortic root is displayed by cutting through the "anterior" leaflet of the mitral valve. The atrioventricular conduction bundle (broken line) passes between the membranous septum (asterisk) and the muscular septum.
