If you are using GCAA Web Portal with Internet Explorer (IE) on Windows, you need to enable Internet
Explorer’s built-in ActiveX capabilities to use some of the XML features in the all-new GCAA Web Site.
Note: You do not need to enable ActiveX if you are using Firefox, Opera, or Safari.
To enable ActiveX in Internet Explorer 7 and later:
1. From the Tools menu (the "gear" icon in IE 9) | Select Internet Options.
2. Select the Security tab and then Trusted sites from zone.
4. Click the button Sites under Trusted sites
10. Remove the Require Server Verification (https: ) for all sites in this zone and Add
http://www.gcaa.gov.ae . Press Add button.
11. Click Close to exit the window
12. Click OK button to Exit Internet Explorer.
ActiveX is enabled when you reboot Internet Explorer. Now user should be able to see browse button
to upload files.
