Job Posting Clinical Associate Program or Department : Behavioral Health Classification: Regular, Full time, exempt, full benefit package Normal Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, occasional evenings or weekends Job Start Date: flexible SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Collects relevant client information for initial treatment plan and case reviews. May provide direct services to adults with serious mental illness and/or severely emotionally disturbed children, adolescents and their families, to include individual and group skills development, family skills development, family support services, case management, crisis intervention and intensive support services. Other duties include: Maintain accurate records client services, maintain required statistics. Assist with grant preparation. Ensure client billings are accurate and timely. Serve as liaison with family or guardian of the client, local physicians, hospital, pharmacist, teachers, school administration, psychiatry and other community service agencies to facilitate and coordinate care of clients. See job description for additional duties. Coordination of tele-psychiatry services. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health sciences field. Experience: One year minimum of paid, full-time work experience working with children and adults experiencing chronic mental illness or severe emotional disabilities. Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize work with a minimal supervision. Ability to work with and relate effectively to individuals with emotional difficulties. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Competent computer skills a must.
