Majors
Individuals with a major in Behavioral Science are prepared to explore careers which use a wide selection of
different ways of looking at human behavior. Individuals are prepared for a career in teaching, research,
social work, health sciences, advertising, marketing, personnel and business management, public
administration, conflict mediation, drug counseling, and a variety of entry-level positions in service agencies.
Jobs may be pursued in government, business, the justice system, or community and social services. Career
prospects for graduates in Behavioral Science are further enhanced because the human and social service
area is a growing one. Students can enter some positions with a bachelor's degree, whereas other positions
