Successful marketing leads to increased bookings, increased interest and more
volunteers; ultimately, towards a thriving village hall. These training session consider the
charitable objects of village and community halls; who its customers are and what they
might need or want. It covers marketing principles, gives guidance on developing a
marketing strategy and explores different ways of promoting a village or community hall.
For the benefit of managers of all types of community buildings – not just charitable halls.
The sessions include:

Understanding your hall’s charitable objectives
Marketing principles
Developing a marketing strategy
Knowing your market – real and potential users of the hall
How to identify and capitalise on your ‘unique selling point’ (USP)
Different ways to promote your hall
How Social Media can be used to promote activities in your hall
