1 Introduction to the Interoperability Test
1.1 Test Background
PAGE&EAST has rich experience in developing media assets management (MAM) software and its MAM
software is reputable in the Chinese market. HUAWEI works jointly with PAGE&EAST to deliver
HUAWEI TV station ICT solution. The purpose of this test to verify that PAGE&EAST's software can
function correctly on HUAWEI devices. The tested software products are PAGE&EAST's DS MAM
software and non-linear editing (NLE) software and the tested hardware products are Huawei's storage
systems, network switches, and servers.
This test focuses on the performance, functions, and reliability of both hardware and software products,
which provides credible proof of the interoperability between HUAWEI ICT solution and PAGE&EAST
software products.
1.2 Network Diagram
In this test, the GE-NAS network, 10GE-NAS network, storage systems, and switches are provided by
Huawei and the MAM and NLE software are provided by PAGE&EAST.

NOTE
On the preceding network diagram, workstations, servers, and N8500 clustered NAS system are connected to S5700
through Ethernet switches. All related IP addresses are on the same network segment.
Nodes in the N8500 clustered NAS system are connected to controller A and controller B on one S2600T through Fibre
Channel optical fibers.
S2600T controller enclosure is connected to disk enclosures through 24 Gbit/s SAS ports.

4 Conclusion
Based on the performance test results, the following conclusions are reached:

HUAWEI ICT solution can meet the bandwidth requirements (6000 Mbit/s to 800 Mbit/s bandwidth)
for stable write, stable read, and mixed read/write services in ingesting and editing scenarios 1 and
scenarios 2.

PAGE&EAST NLE software and DS MAM software can function correctly on HUAWEI devices.
3.
Power supplies, optical fibers, and controllers are all working correctly in redundancy mode.
