SiteRanger™ SR2 Internet-based Site Monitoring System SR2 Distributed Network monitoring modules Remote power via PoE - reliable and redundant function modules - targeted monitoring Connect via CSInet or direct LAN connection for local monitoring Individual dedicated function modules are retrofitted/installed in power devices, HVAC, Fire Suppression and other site systems to provide both contact closure and analog parameter monitoring to provide significant remote visibility of facility status. SR2 Modules are designed for interconnection via CSInet which includes an industry standard Cat5E network with PoE enabled network power distribution to provide reliable central power for the SR2 modules. CSInet provides individual Cat5E connectivity for data and power for the SR2 modules without proprietary wiring or interconnection limitations. Standard network wiring devices and components are used for maximum cost and reliability benefit. Contact closures and analog parameter acquisition provides the maximum in remote visibility. Each SR2 module includes inputs for contact closures from site devices as well as electrical monitoring connectivity for AC/DC power parameters as well as other analog information such as temperature, humidity, generator fuel level etc. SiteRanger SR2 modules include dedicated purpose configurations that allow the end user to decide which site devices should be monitored and to add these devices as required over time instead of prepurchasing the entire monitoring infrastructure in advance. This ala carte approach saves cost and still allows the SiteRanger system to be “future proof” by allowing new modules to be added over time in the future as new equipment is added or selected to be monitored.
