Activities Pupils create a set of record cards which contain information about each pupil e.g. name, age etc. Pupils use a set of preprepared record cards to answer questions e.g. how many minibeasts have 6 legs or wings? Show pupils how to move from one record to another within a pre-prepared database e.g. Ourselves. Pupils add their own information. Pupils search the database to answer simple questions e.g. how many children have blue eyes? Pupils create charts to answer questions e.g. how many children have brown hair? Model creating a new database e.g. minibeasts. Pupils suggest field names, enter information and search their database.
