The project received sponsorship and support from KSCST among 500 project chosen across the state EDUCATION Organizer of inter-college, state level paper presentation activities Winner of college level Kannada poetry competition Runner up in intra college Chess competition B.E (Electronics & Communication) from Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (affiliated to VTU), Bangalore with 74.7% , June 2014 Pre-University Education from Jnanodaya Pre-university College, Bangalore, with 71.3% , May 2010 INTERNSHIP PROJECT Title Project Brief Technologies Used Tools Used Communication Protocols Used Key challenges and learnings Energy meter The objective was to measure the energy consumed by the load. The energy meter was designed using ADE7754 IC. The SPI communication protocol was established between IC and the ATSAM controller to monitor and to display the measured parameters such as voltage, current, active energy, reactive energy, apparent energy and power factor Embedded-C functions, Structures, Pointers. ATMEL STUDO 7.1 SPI, I2C and RTC Energy Meter is a new project which required an in-detail understanding of IC and interfacing with ATSAMD20E18 micro-controller using SPI communication. Reading and monitoring of electrical parameters at regular time instants. Performing necessary calculations to obtain desired voltage and current values Storing of read parameters for display PROJECTS AT EMERTXE Title Project Brief Key challenges and learnings Arbitrary Precision Calculator The objective was to develop a precision calculator that performs arithmetic operations on the bits of data that are greater than the size of a word. Data Structures-Doubly-linked list, Structure pointers, Embedded CFunctions,Makefiles. Arbitrary precision is a new project which required building understanding of technology by doing literature study Reading the data greater than the size of a word along with an operator in the form a string and chunking it into a size of a word, converting it into an integer and storing it into a doubly linked list. Performing arithmetic operations on unequal length of nodes. Title Image Steganography using LSB Encoding and Decoding Technologies Used Page 2 Project Brief Technologies Used Key challenges and learnings The objective was to send a secret text file encoded inside an image of bmp file format. Encoded the length of the secret text and then encoded the data into the LSB of the image bytes. The decoding process involves decoding the length and then decoding the text bit by bit. The Final output is the secret text after decoding. Embedded C – File operations, Pointers, Bitwise operations, Functions, Makefiles, Command line arguments Steganography is a new project which required building understanding of technology by doing literature study Transforming the embedded information to the destination without changing properties of original image Usage byte-wise and bitwise manipulation of data to embed as well to retrieve the data from the destination image ACADEMIC PROJECT DETAILS Title Project brief Technologies used Key challenges & Learnings Design and Implementation of Magnetic Levitation using PID Algorithm Magnetic levitation is a concept that is used to balance bodies as a whole system. This means maintaining whole system stability by using appropriate magnetic fields. In our innovative implementation, three temporary magnets were generated by winding a copper coils. A code for a microcontroller (MSP430F149) was developed and executed using IAR Embedded workbench for balancing the plate and also to display the tilt and temperature digital values on a display MATLAB, Circuit Maker, IAR Embedded Workbench version 5.6 Developing a code for an ADC and LCD display to interface with the hardware using microcontroller was a challenge. This was solved by doing self-study, team discussion and developing sample snippet implementation In finding a suitable gauge of a wire that works with the system. This was resolved by iterative approach and identification Developing a balanced levitating system was the major challenge. This was resolved by identification of suitable magnetic strength and finding suitable gauge mentioned above REFERENCES 1. 2. Page 3 Bhargava GA Manager, Velankani Electronics Private Limited.
