Review of Literature:
The investigation on physico chemical parameters of Masoli reseroir with respect to fish
production by Kadam M. S. et.al (2007). The study focused on different parameters of water
from reservoir in Parbhani district. Water sample were analysise for physico chemical
parameters including pH EC,TDS DO andCO2 at four station they found that this reservoir can
utilize for the production of fishes
The investigation Annotated check list of aquatic avifauna of agro eco system of Buldhana
district of Maharashtra (2009) by Joshi Prasanna the studies on aquatic avifauna of Buldhana
district revealed abundance of 28 species of water birds of 13 families where recorded to his bird
species are heterogeneous in their feeding habit the present study emphasizes the water need to
conduct a detailed study on the states of agro eco system and biology aquatic avifauna
The investigation on physico chemical properties of well water samples from some village in
Nigeria with cases of stained and mottle teeth by Ezeribe A. et.al (2012) ,study of physico
chemical properties of well water sample results showed that most of the parameters determined
did not exceed the permissible limit of the WHO the water may cause the formation of scale on
boilers, poor lather formation
The investigation-on seasonal variation of physico chemical characteristic of water in two
wetlands of Tiptur Taluka,Karnataka by Jagadeshappa K. C. et.al (2011) The present study was
carried out in Sugur and Bagapur wetlands it reveals that as the session changes there is
fluctuation in the physico chemical parameters of the water due to in flow and change in the
temperature as season changes.
The investigation on physico chemical and micro biological studies of drinking of Paly district
Rajasthan was carried out by Suthar A. K. et,al (2012). Paly is a town in Rajasthan state of
western India the main purpose of present study was to analyze quality of ground water. It shows
that only PH and Nitrate values lies within the permissible limit while rest of the parameters are
beyond permissible limit
Studies on effect on chronic exposure of endosulfan to Labeo rohita was studied by Saravanan
T. S, et.al (2010). The major carp, Labeo rohita upon chronic exposure to endosulfan showed
hyperglycemia and hypercholestemia of blood as a result of the insecticidal stress the tissue
metabolites and enzymes revealed significant alterations. The hormones T3 and TSH were also
affected by endosulfan
Studies on fish diversity from Erukh lake near Solapur,Maharashtra by Battul P. N. et.al (2007)
the Erukh lake was ones the largest man made water body the fishes collected from lake by
repeated netting a variety of carps belong to the order Cypriniformes included species of
Cirrhinus, Catla, Labeo while Eel fishes belonging to the order perciformes
Studies on assessment of pollution load of a fresh water lake with special emphases on certain
physico chemical parameters by Pradhan V. P. et.al (2011). The Wunna lake has been studied
for its physico chemical parameters and use and land scape change has been one of the threat to
biological diversity across Wunna lake Nagpur (Maharashtra) The depth and total water spread
of this lake are progressively reducing and the quality of water deteriorating, there is no
significant seasonal variation and the water of this lake is good for drinking purpose
The investigation on seasonal variation of fish abundance and biomass in gill net catches of an
east Mediterranean lake Doirani by Dimitra C. et.al (2010) The lake Doirani is a transboundry
lake shared by the Fomer Yugoslavise Republic of Macedoni and Greece. It reveals that from
this lake a total of 81419 specimens were observed and belonging to nine species where caught
Cyprinids where generally most abundant
Studies on fish diversity and its conservation in major wetlands of Mysore (Karnataka) by
Daviprasad A. G. et.al in (2009). Maysore district has undulating river like Cauvery on the
northern side . ,Encroachnment of the lakes, pollution of air, agricultural and sewage disposal
into lakes and rapid urbanization has apparently caused undesirable change in the climate and
lake structure there are fourty species of fish endemic to this region. Their number decreased
with introduction more exotic species conservation of endemic fishes, propagation of endangered
and threatened fishes should be preserve and protect fish diversity in the wet lands of Mysore
district
Studies on seasonal variation of Zooplankton community in fresh water reservoir (Khaji
Kotnoor) Gulbarga District Karnataka by Rajshaker M, et,al (2010). It provides Quantitative
information on hte seasonal variation of Zooplankton and selected physio chemical variables in a
large man made reserwier in the Gulbarga district there are 24 species of which 10 species
belongs to Rotifea 6 species belongs to Cladocera and 5 species belong to Copepoda among
Zooplankton particularly rotifera was the dominant group throughout study period and highest
count was recorded in summer
The investigation on water quality and conversation management Ramsagar reservoir Datia,(
MP) by Garg R. K, et.al (2009) Ramsagar small man made reservoir with 140.097ha. water
spread area. The management of any aquatic eco system is aimed to the conservation its habitat
with an aim to maintain the physico chemical quality of water. It helps for the growth of aquatic
plants and animal in reservoir in all 13 species of macrophytes were recorded from reservoir
Studies on a survey of avifaunal diversity in wetland around Keoladeo National park Bharatpur
Rajasthan India by Bhadouria B S, et.al (2012) Keoladeo National park a world heritage site is
famous for its avifaunal diversity is now facing water shortages therefore many species of
migratory birds have been moving to nearby wet lands for foraging. .Rediabundh wetland is the
most species rich with 44 bird species while only 1 species was found in Chicksana wet land
large size wet lands with more water attracted larger number of species including more
individual birds
Studies on Zooplankton diversity of Pravera river near Sangamner, Maharashtra by Pandit S. V’
et.al (2007) the members of zooplankton are important for their role tropic dynamics and energy
transfer in an aquatic eco system Zooplankton diversity refers to variety with in community of
this important biotic component. The studies of species composition abundance distribution and
variation with respect to biotic and abiotic factors help in better management of the river eco
system for intensive fish culture
The investigation on variation of physical characteristic of Godavari river water and Nanded
(Maharashtra) and Rajahmundry (Andhra pradesh) by Shrinivasarao V. et.al (2007) In the
present study an effort was made to monitor water quality of river Godavari the physical
parameter included temperature ,PH turbidity, TDS and conductivity. A significant variation in
the physical characteristics of the water was recorded between its qualities at upstream, Nanded,
when compared with the quality at downstream at Rajahmundry. (A.P.)
