Those auditioning should arrive at (start time) and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students, grades (list grades eligible: i.e. Kindergarten through 12th grade), are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students will rehearse approximately 4 ½ hours each day, Monday through Friday. The performances are scheduled for (date, time and location). Among the roles to be cast are the Princess, the Pea, King and Queen Size of Riverdom, Storm King and Snow Queen of Glacierdom, the Prince, the mischievous Jack Frost, the citizens of Riverdom and Glacierdom, the Dust Bunnies, some wannabe Princesses not to mention some meddling leprechauns. All students, ages (list ages eligible: i.e. Kindergarten through 12th grade), are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities. The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup.
