• In2014,theWashingtonStateDNAdatabasehadmorematches(or“hits”)topersonsincludedforburglarythanany
othercategoryofcrime--accountingfor37%ofallmatchesinoneyear.Thisismorethanallmatchesmadeto
violentcrimeoffenders,combined(homicide1%,sexcrimes7%,robbery8%,andassault11%).Infact,thenextlargest
