Case Study – Porting Digital Communication Forms
to iOS and Android
Introduction & Key Facts
One of the leaders in Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions targeted
to Finance and Insurance sectors, asked Mobica to extend its existing web based digital
communication channels capability on mobile platforms. The aim was to offer enterprise
customers multichannel communication and increase its operational efficiency,
revenues and customer satisfaction. Existing Customer solution helped its enterprise
customers to improve the creation, delivery, storage and retrieval of outbound
communications, including those for marketing, new product introductions, renewal
notifications, claims correspondence and documentation, and bill and payment
notifications.
The challenge and objectives
Mobica was challenged with the task to gather; all customer requirements, design
architecture for middleware/backend and frontend parts, and prepare project
documentation. Due to the fact that the Customer did not have the required mobile
competencies with very tight deadlines, Mobica was approached for their end-to-end
mobile solution delivery.
Solution and delivered value
Mobica delivered the following solutions:
 Middleware backend for communication with Customer’s backend, metadata
storage, Management of OAuth and delivery of digital communication forms to
authorized clients
 Mobile SDKs consisting of Digital Communication runtime, and
 Demo apps for iOS and Android.
 Integration of native Android & iOS frameworks with Xamarin and Cordova
frameworks
The project was ramped up efficiently and overall Mobica provided 18 mobile and
backend developers, 5 testers, a Project Manager and Project Sponsor, and material
assets such as mobile devices for development & testing.
During the project Mobica showed full understanding of the customer needs and
customer feedback highlighted that the project was delivered with high quality and met
the deadline.
