Large intestine The large intestine absorbs the water from the indigestible food and transmit the useless waste material from the body. Liver The liver cleans your blood, it makes a digestive liquid called bile, and it stores an energy called glycogen. Appendix The appendix produces and protects good germs for the guts by rebooting the digestive system. Pancreas The pancreas produces enzymes and hormones that help break down foods. Gall Bladder The gall bladder is responsible to digest the fats in the foods. Enzymes The enzymes helps us in breaking of different minerals. Bile / Bile Duct Bile is a digestive juice secreted by the liver and it is stored in the gallbladder and aids the digestions of fat. Mucus Mucus basically keeps everything gliding along. Chemical digestion Chemical digestion has a chemical that breaks down food into simpler compound. Mechanical digestion Mechanical has a chemical using a chemical to digest and/or break down food.
