The National Certificate in Dental Nursing is a
professional qualification outlined by the government
to establish competency in this field and is the
nationally recognized certification for this career. It is
recognized by all dental practices in the United
Kingdom.
Starting in July 2008, anyone wishing to work in the
capacity as a Dental Nurse will have to hold this
nationally recognized qualification or at least be
studying for a recognized UK qualification.
Most training centers take at least one year to bring
candidates to the point of qualification.
