How Do Cactus Reproduce?
Cacties are flower watering plants. The flowers produce seed-bearing fruit. The cacti is
pollinated by bats. Cacti could be grown from broken of parts of plants ,but the plant is
going to be identical to the original plant.
Natural Selection

have leaves. There are different types of cacti. They are dormant in winter and grow in
summer. There are different sizes of cacti. They can grow as tall as 60 feet.
Does it Struggle to Survive?
The thorns protect it from predators. A cactus takes in water and dissolves nutrients
through the roots. The nutrients and water goes up through the stems.
Successful Reproduction
Cactus can reproduce thousands of times. They don’t share any characteristics as other
succulents.
Physical Appearance of a Cactus
Most cactus are green and have spikes. Some of them have flowers on them.
Evolution and Origin
Cacti make good household plants because they don’t need as much water as regular plants.
Cacti just need sunlight and a little bit of water. They originally only grew in American
Contents. Succulents/cacti where native to many regions like Northern Europe. During
expeditions, new species of plants were found and one of them where succulents/cacti.
