Honors Geometry What are we learning in Unit 6 — Similarity? Target 6A. Perform a dialation with a given center and scale factor on a figure in the coordinate plane 6B. Verify the characteristics of dilations: For instance, when a side passes through the center of dilation, the side and its image lie on the same line Corresponding sides of the pre-image and image are parallel A side length of the image is equal to the scale factor multiplied by the corresponding side length of the preimage 6C.
