SPECIFICATIONS:
• High efficiency recessed T5 fluorescent total volume luminaire
featuring an ultra-shallow design and custom formulated
frosted acrylic light shield. With a depth of 3-1/8” virtually fits
into any plenum space. Frosted light shield allows maximum
direct-light transmission which delivers very high fixture
efficiencies. Reflector system enables precise indirect light
distribution.
• Fixture efficiencies exceed 83% (as tested with two 14W-T5
lamps) with this computer designed precision optical system.
Qualifies for many state and national rebate programs. • The system delivers comfortable illumination by filling the
entire volume of space evenly. Broad angle illumination lights
walls and vertical surfaces creating a more open and comfortable space. All components are recessed above the ceiling
line. Install in ceilings as low as eight feet. • Center light shield: Extruded with internal linear ribs from
100% acrylic with an added colorless frosting blended into the
material. Hides all lamp imaging. Light shield snaps in and out
for lamp access. Optional perforated steel shield slides over
existing acrylic shield when this style is desired.
• Housing: Die formed from code-grade heavy gauge cold
rolled steel and fabricated in a computer-controlled operation.
Housing back forms the indirect reflector. Center ballast and
wiring cover is removable from below. Rivets and self-locking
joints hold all parts together for strength and unity. Pry-out
style grid supports are located on the ends.
Frosted Acrylic Shield
• Finish: A custom formulated non-glare white powder coating
is applied to the reflectors and the housing after fabrication.
Provides a reflectivity of at least 90%.
• T5 Lamps: One, two or three 2Ft. linear fluorescent lamps;
14W-T5 or 24W-HO-T5.
• Ballasts T5: Electronic programmed start, normal light output,
high power factor, THD less than 10%. Lutron or Advance dimming ballasts as specified.
• Voltage: Multi-volt operates a range from 120V-277V, 50HZ-60HZ.
Dedicated voltages on request.
• Emergency battery back up: Mounted externally on top of the
housing with mini wire cover. Adds approximately ½” additional
depth to the luminaire. Integrated packs range from 375 up to
500 lumen output. Varies with lamp type.
• Installations: Designed for installation into NEMA Type G lay-in
acoustical grid ceiling systems, 1” grid or 9/16” fine-line grid.
Optional fit available for screw slot grid. Four pullout type
security clips, located in the housing, lock over the ceiling grid
work. Four auxiliary suspension points are also provided for
securing to building structure. A quick wiring access plate is
located on back of the housing. Factory installed lamps and
power whips as specified. • UL and CUL listed 1598 and bears their label. Suitable for dry
locations or optional damp locations with UL Damp Label.
