These courses must be completed or in progress at the time of application. Liberal Education (LE) requirements consist of a set of “core areas” and “themes” that must be implemented in your lower division coursework. This is an unofficial evaluation of admission requirements (Prerequisite courses and LE requirements) for the BSHP. UMR will provide official evaluation of all prior college coursework only after a student is admitted to the BSHP. Students must have a minimum of 54-60 credits (depending on chosen track) earned prior to transfer into the BSHP. Successful candidates for admission generally have a much higher science GPA than the recommended minimum. Priority application deadline is February 1. Select applicants will be invited to interview. Interviews are conducted in March and students are required to travel to Rochester.
