Prerequisite Courses provide the foundational knowledge students must possess in order to be successful in the clinical and didactic
curriculum of the upper division of the BSHP. These courses must be completed or in progress at the time of application. Liberal Education
(LE) requirements consist of a set of “core areas” and “themes” that must be implemented in your lower division coursework.
This is an unofficial evaluation of admission requirements (Prerequisite courses and LE requirements) for the BSHP. UMR will provide official evaluation of all prior college
coursework only after a student is admitted to the BSHP. Students must have a minimum of 54-60 credits (depending on chosen track) earned prior to transfer into the BSHP.
