A Resolution to Deploy Selected National Guard Units to
The U.S.-Mexican Border

WHEREAS,
Current security measures along the US-Mexican Border are inadequate, and

WHEREAS,
Drug and human trafficking related border crossings originating from Mexico
and into the U.S. is increasing, and

WHEREAS,
affecting millions of Americans and putting even more in danger, and

Violence stemming directly and indirectly from these border crossings are
WHEREAS,
It is the duty of the Congress here assembled and the President of the United
States to protect and defend America and its Citizens, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the all of the following actions will take place:

1.) The President of the United States of American will order the federalization
10
and deployment of the following units to the U.S.-Mexican order: The 184th
11
Infantry Regiment (California), 158th Infantry Regiment(Arizona), 200th
12
Infantry Regiment (New Mexico), 141st Infantry Regiment (Texas) and there
13
respective operational support units.

2.) These units will be cycled every 6 months and shall not be limited to their
own states while deployed.
3.) An effectiveness review will be conducted by the United States DoD and US
CBPA Every 3 months .
