Bozeman Health Annual Health Fair
Join us at our annual Health Fair on Saturday, April 2 beginning at 7 am.
We’ll have information you and your whole family can use to get rid of old habits that hold you back and
live a healthier lifestyle. We’ll be offering numerous health screenings at no charge and many reduced
price lab screenings for adults and kids.
No-cost screenings include blood pressure, body mass index, bone density, glucose, asthma, skin cancer,
oral cancer, hearing, vision, oximetry and EKG monitoring.
Experience the impaired obstacle course – you can see for yourself the effect alcohol can have on your
system. Hands-only CPR training, fire extinguisher training and a cooking demo will be offered. Take a
tour of the AMR ambulance, the Smokehouse and Reach Air Medical Services helicopter.
Montana recently expanded its Medicaid programs. Certified application counselors from Community
Health Partners will be available with information about these programs and to help you determine if
you qualify for this medical coverage.
Kids will get to participate in exercise and GoNoodle games, have bike helmets fitted (bring their
helmets), and decorate eggs while learning about healthy eating habits with Kohl’s Cares/Bozeman
Health Eat Smart.
Available lab tests requiring a blood draw include A1C hemoglobin, PSA (prostate specific antigen), CReactive protein, and blood typing, for $20 each, and Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 at $30 each.
Additionally, a comprehensive chemistry screening that includes a lipid profile to measure cholesterol
(HDL and LDL), triglycerides, TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) levels comprehensive metabolic panel,
iron and CBC (complete blood count) is available for $35. Please note: you must fast for 12 hours before
any of these laboratory tests.
Additional activities will be posted to this page as they are confirmed, so check back often.
See you at the Fair!
