WHAT IS COMMUNICATION?
• We have two ears and one mouth because we
should listen twice as much as we speak.
Only when we listen do we have anything
worthwhile to say.
As a leader you will be judged by the words you
speak.
•
.
Lincoln said, “It is better to be silent and be
thought a fool than to speak and leave no doubt.”
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION!
 If your want your words to have influence speak with
economy. Use the minimum number of words
necessary to convey your thoughts.
 Don’t be so vain as to think others will always be
interested in your words!
LEADERSHIP
Leaders are most interested in asking questions
about others than they are talking about themselves.
If you find yourself more interesting than other
people, then soon you will be the only person who will
listen to you.
