by a transport agent such as wind, water, or ice.
Soil: Material found on the surface of Earth that is composed of organic and inorganic
material.
Deposition: Process in which sediments, soil, and rocks are deposited or added to
landmass.
Chemical Weathering: Process where rocks are broken down and chemically altered.
Mechanical Weathering: Process where rocks are physically broken down without any
chemical changes.
Transport rock/soil: Movement of material across Earth's surface by water, wind, ice
or gravity.
Leaching: Loss of soluble substances from the soil by heavy rains.
