lessons learnt from the previous projects
need to expand the activities towards Infectious
diseases (ID) to the whole country
(LEPIDC) is more ambitious and challenging than
the previous one.

regional hospitals will be targeted).

of HIV/AIDS and other ID.

formulate a National HIV Strategy that
addresses Libya’s priority issues for HIV
prevention and care
obtain critical biological, social and
behavioural estimates to guide and assess the
strategy
analyze these data and draw evidence based
conclusions from them
