About PSIT
The Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology and PSIT
College of Engineering Kanpur were established in
2004 and 2008 respectively. Both the Institutes are
affiliated to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical
University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The Institutes
offer undergraduate courses in Electrical, Electronics
and Communication, Computer Science, Information
Technology, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, the
postgraduate
courses
in
Electronics
and
Communication, Computer Science and Mechanical
engineering besides MCA and MBA are being offered.
The Institute of Pharmacy - PSIT offering both
undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Keeping
abreast with modern development, PSIT|PSITCOE are
constantly restructuring and renovating its
infrastructure as well as its academic, research,
placement & teaching learning facilities.
About The Department
Department of Computer Science & Engineering was
established with the commencement of the Institute in
2004, with the objective of imparting quality education
in the field of Computer Science. With rapidly evolving
technology and the continuous need for innovation, the
Department has always produced quality professionals,
holding important positions in IT- Industry in India.
The Department offers B.Tech & M.Tech. Courses with
the aim to develop core competencies in Computer
Science and prepare the students to carry out
development work, as well as take up challenges in
research.
About the FDP
The Faculty Development Program on "Data Mining
Techniques and Its Applications (DMTA-16)" is aimed
to gather faculty members, researchers and application
developers from a wide range of data mining related
areas such as statistics, computational intelligence,
pattern recognition, databases and its visualization.
FDP-DMTA'16 is aimed to advance the state-of-the-art
in field of data mining and its various real world
applications. It will provide opportunities for technical
collaboration among data mining and machine learning
through hands on experience on various tools and
programming Languages of Data Mining.

All the faculty members from Under Graduate /Post
Graduate programmes of AICTE approved technical
Institutes.

Objective

After completion of DMTA-16, the participants will be able
