GOAL AND OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION: The DBA designs, develops, implements and maintains databases by identifying and solving database requirements and database related problems. 2. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: (list the education and experience which is “required” for this position) Minimum requirement: ● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent ● 3 to 5 years experience in an analytical role such as DBA, BI Specialist, Performance Data Analyst or similar ● Experience with SQL Server, SQL programming and SQL reporting ● Familiar with relational database design ● Experience with SQL Server database administration ● Experience with Microsoft BI application development tools such as SSRS, SSAS and BIDS ● Experience with troubleshooting database related issues (integrity, performance, blocking, replication, log shipping, connectivity, security and other issues) ● Experience with patch management software, data backup and recovery software and common IT hardware and software systems. 9. TRAVEL Up to 10% domestic and international travel expected for short term assignments 10. WORKLOCATION AND TIMESCHEDULE Preferred work location is Bangalore, India.
