Kimble McHone World History Classroom Guidelines and Syllabus Book: World History – Connections to Today Classroom Copy Supplies: Pens/Pencils Paper 3 ring binder (Organization/Notebook) Highlighter Map Pencils (Donated to class) Markers (Donated to class) Small spiral notebook for “Word of the Day” Expectations: Be on time No food or drink in the classroom Turn off your cell phones – I WILL TAKE THEM UP!!! Bring all your supplies to class every day! Respect your peers, room, and teacher. Bathroom: Sign out on the appropriate form. Do not abuse the privilege. Late work: Will accept one day late for a maximum score of 70. Make up work: refer to BISD handbook. **Test will be made up during tutorials** Grading: Tests: 60% (Chapter Test, Quizzes, Notebook, Projects) Daily: 40% (Vocabulary, homework, maps) Tutorials: B days from 8:00 – 8:35 Notebook: 5 Sections “Highly Recommended” 1.
