Web Page Publishing
WVEIS 1455
This course will introduces students to the basic Web page design concepts and provide practice in creating Web sites.
Students will explore various applications in Web page design through hands-on activities and experiences, which may include
using Web page development software, creating page layouts, adding images and frames, creating elements and components,
creating tables managing files, publishing to the Internet, creating hyperlinks, organizing tasks, and using codes (markup
languages). Teachers will provide each student with real world learning opportunities and instruction related to business, ebusiness, multimedia, technology and Web page occupations. Students are encouraged to become active members of the
student organizations FBLA or DECA. The West Virginia Standards for 21st Century Learning include the following components:
21st Century Content Standards and 21st Century Learning Skills and Technology Tools. All West Virginia teachers are
responsible for classroom instruction that integrates learning skills, technology tools, and content standards and objectives.
