Dear Parents and Guardians
As you may well know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As part of the school’s
ongoing commitment to charity both locally, nationally and internationally, on Friday 21st of
October there will be a whole school Mufti day to raise awareness of breast cancer. Children
will be able to wear their own clothes including something pink in school for the day but will
be asked to donate at least £1 for this privilege.
This is an extremely worthy cause and will be close to many of your hearts within the
extended St John’s community, who may have lived with or supported a loved one through
the devastating effects of breast cancer.
Thank you in advance for helping the school in being able to support such deserving causes.
