Elecrtophilic addition reactions and polymerization of unsaturated hydrocarbons. Electrophilic substitution in benzene and aromatic compounds. Substitutions SN1 and SN2. Eliminations E1 and E2. Addition and reactions in the carbonyl group. Aldol and Claisen condensation reactions. Reduction and oxidation of carbonyl group. Acyl group substitution. Catalytic hydrogenation and dehydrogenation reactions. Lipids. Carbohydrates. Proteins and amino acids. Classification of polymer materials. Basic knowledge of instrumental analysis.
