Hardy-Weinberg Principle – states that change in a population won’t happen if five conditions can be met. Postzygotic isolating mechanism – a type of reproductive isolation that occurs after fertilization. Prezygotic isolating mechanism – a type of reproductive isolation that doesn’t allow fertilization. Punctuated Equilibrium – formation of a species through periods of rapid change in a species.
