Point
• Definition: A location in
space that has no
width, length or height.
Usually represented by
a capital letter.

• Definition: A portion of
two end point. 1/7

Line Segment
• Definition: A portion of
a line. Consist of two
end points and all the
points on the straight
line between two
points.
Plane
• Definition: Has length,
and width but no
height.
Vertex
• Definition: The point
where the two sides of
an angle intersects.
Complementary Angle
• Definition: two acute
angles that add up to 90
degrees.
Collinear
• Definition: Lying on the
same line.
Acute Angle
• Definition: An angle
that adds up to less
than 90 degrees.
End Points
• Definitions: The points
on the end of line
segments.
Supplementary Angles
• Definition: Two angles
who’s sum is 180
degrees.
Linear Pair
• A pair of angles that are
adjacent and
supplementary
Non-Collinear
• Points that are NOT on
the same line
Coplanar
• Points on the same
plane
Congruent
• 2 polygons that are not
on the same line
Angle
• Union of 2 rays with a
common endpoint

• An angle bigger than 90
degrees

• An enclosed figure
Parallel Lines
• They don’t intersect
but are in the same

• 2 lines that are a perfect

adjacent angles formed
by 2 intersecting lines
