Preparing for
Your First Appointment
• Plan to arrive on time, and be at the Regional
Cancer Care Center for two to three hours. We
want to assure that we have time to address your
questions and concerns.
• Bring your completed patient assessment form
(you will receive from us), and your current
insurance cards.
• If you are visiting Radiation Oncology, please
wear comfortable clothing that you can change into
and out of easily. Many times you may have your
simulation done directly following your consultation
with the physician. The purpose of a simulation is
to position you as we would for treatment in order
to precisely measure, mark and image the area we
will be treating.
Our goal is to make this experience go as smoothly
as possible for you. Please feel free to call us with
any questions you may have prior to your
appointment at 360-814-2146.
