Words to know Saliva - a digestive juice produced by the salivary glands. Stomach - a muscular organ where some digestion occurs. Stomach acid dissolves food into liquid. Liver - secretes a liquid call bile that helps to digest fats. Gallbladder - stores bile until it is needed. Pancreas - aids the small intestines in producing pancreatic juice.
