Boston Ivy
• Latin name- Parthenocissus Tricuspidata
• Perennial
• Boston ivy is native to eastern Asia, Japan, Korea, northern
and eastern China. Normally can grow 30 meters tall when it
attaches its self to something to sustain it. The Boston ivy can
grows best in sun however can grow in partial shade. Water
the ivy thoroughly but infrequently.
Zonal Geranium
• Latin name-Pelargonium x hortorum cv.
• Perennial
• The Geranium can reach 1 to 3 feet also it is native to the
garden. It’s a variety of colors orange pink purple red and
white. It needs a medium amount of water not a lot but not to
little. Full sun to part shade is what it grows best in.
Fountain Grass
• Latin name- Pennisetum Ruppelia
• Annual
• This plant can grow in both moist and dry conditions it prefers
the sunlight. It is a deer resistant plant it can also grow from 3
to 4 feet tall.
Petunia
• Latin name- Petunia x hybrida cv.
• Perennials
• Petunia’s are native to South America and there are many
hybrids the flowers are usually 5 inches in diameter. Likes a lot
of sun and water regularly but not too much water.
Heartleaf Philodendron
• Latin Name- Philodendron Scandens Oxycardium
• perennial
• It is called the heartleaf because of the heart shaped foliage it
needs low to moderate light and water every so often do not
let the soil totally dry out. Usually grow 4 feet or more also
native to the tropics.
Norway Spruce
• Latin Name- Picea Abies
• Tree
• Norway Spruce can be up to 35 to 55 meters high they are
native to europe green pine like leaves
Colorado Spruce
• Latin name- Picea Pungens cv.
• Tree
• Generally found in highly wet soil it is native to the colorado
rockys it gets about 25 to 45 m tall. Green needle like leaves.
