Expected Learning Outcomes
• To recognize the structures and functions of some basic components of a eukaryotic cell;
• To explain how normal cells are maintained by regulating their division and death; and
• To apply the basic knowledge of cell biology in understanding and treatment of diseases, which
are caused by changes or losses in cell functions.
