Terminologies
Sire: A male adult cattle which at least once mated with Dam to produce offspring.
Dam: A female adult cattle which at least once produced an offspring.
Calving: Act of giving birth in cattle and young-one is called calf.
Ram: A male adult sheep which at least once mated with Ewe to produce offspring.
Ewe: A female adult sheep which at least once produced an offspring.
Lambing: Act of giving birth in Sheep and young-one is called Lamb.
Buck: A male goat use for breeding purpose and at least once mated with female goat.
Doe: A female adult goat which at least once produced an offspring.
Kidding: Act of giving birth in goat and young-one is called Kid.
MYS: Male young stock, aged of greater than 1 year, but not yet mated with female.
FYS: Female young stock, aged of greater than 1 year, but not yet gave birth to a young-one.
MS: Male Suckler, which aged from birth to 1 year.
FS: Female Suckler, which aged from birth to 1 year.
