Serve as the single Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) for Austin Peay State University
Install, upgrade, and provide technical support for 12 Oracle (5 Banner, 2 UC4, 2 Luminis, 2 ODS, 1 Grid)
databases running on a mixture of Dell/Red Hat Linux and Sun/Solaris servers.
Install, upgrade, and provide technical support for 19 SQL Server databases running Microsoft SQL Server 2008
on Dell/Windows 2008 servers.
Perform all Oracle database and Weblogic installations and upgrades.
Perform all Banner installations, upgrades, and patches.
Perform all ODS/OWB installations and upgrades.
Ensure all daily RMAN backups are performed and completed.
