Business Unit Creation: Managed the successful creation of the Retail Litigation Division with over 30 employees and the transition to a new customized core system based on CUBS. System Conversion: Championed and managed a migration of the company’s core system from a VMS terminal access system to a new system utilizing web based applications and a Linux based database with a Windows SQL database mirror for reporting. Simultaneously managed projects for the new core production application, conversion to a new software based phone system, and relocation of the central office and data center with no interruption in production. Reorganization: Reorganized the Operations and IT departments resulting in a 29% reduction in cost while new procedures and policies reduced a consistent two-week data submissions backlog to real-time. Report Card: Designed and directed development of an automated report card system to poll users about their satisfaction with resolved issues. Results were stored in a SQL database with a web interface and IT supervisors received a report used to sdvise their technicians of improvements needed.
