Powerline adapter for professional installations
With the dLAN 200 AVpro mini, devolo is reinforcing its dLAN PROFESSIONAL
portfolio. The compact 200 Mbps adapter offers comprehensive remote control and
thus can be centrally managed.

Aachen, Germany, November 21, 2012 – Developed for professional Powerline
networks in the office or commercial environments and for ambitious household customer
projects, the dLAN 200 AVpro mini provides secure and stable network connections via
the building's internal power line. The dLAN PROFESSIONAL architecture allows the use
of up to 64 adapters within a network. In this way, even complex projects can be realised
with the professional dLAN adapters. The compact dimensions of the mini adapter allow
a particularly flexible use, such as when installed in hard-to-access locations. The dLAN
200 AVpro mini is equipped with a LAN port, to which terminal devices as well as network
switches can be connected.
Efficient remote maintenance via dLAN AVpro manager
As the only manufacturer, devolo offers a professional software-supported monitoring
and control of dLAN Powerline adapters. The high-performance AVpro manager remote
management tool supports the administrator during configuration and monitoring of the
Powerline network. A dLAN-PROFESSIONAL installation with dLAN 200 AVpro mini
adapters allows not only efficient monitoring and control, but also adapts perfectly to the
usage scenario. For example, various adapter functions such as PowerSave mode,
pairing button and status LED can be disabled. Firmware updates can likewise play out
conveniently on all adapters in the network.
Secure and stable connections, energy-efficient operation
The 128-bit AES encryption ensures a secure data transmission within the dLAN
Powerline network. For particularly stable connections, the dLAN 200 AVpro mini is
equipped with the 'Quality of Service' performance feature. Through this automatic data
prioritisation, interference-free transmission of real-time services such as Voice over IP or
IPTV is guaranteed.
devolo guarantees a particularly energy-efficient operation through the Dynamic
PowerSave technology. This PowerSave mode enables a dynamic adaptation of the
energy consumption – the adapter switches automatically into standby mode if the
connected network device was disabled.
The dLAN 200 AVpro mini from the devolo dLAN PROFESSIONAL portfolio is available
in electronics stores as of November 2012. The recommended retail price is 44.90 euros
for the individual product and 69.90 euros for the starter kit with two adapters. Like all
devolo products, the dLAN 200 AVpro mini was developed and tested in Germany.
