3. Project Background 200 words. Provide any information that may be considered relevant to
the project proposal related to the origin and evolution of this business concept. For example, “I have
been working on this business concept since my first year coop term with ABC inc.”
4. Value Proposition 500 words. Who are your customers? What does your business concept
promise to deliver? What problem is being addressed, why is this problem important and how does
your venture concept address this need?
5. Initial Market Assessment 500 words. Is there a need for your idea? Where is the market
for your business concept? For example, is it business to business or a specific type of consumer? How
large to you believe this market is? Do you have any data, quantitative or qualitative at this stage to
support this? Are there any trends that support the growth of this market?
