PURPOSE: The purpose of this schedule is to ensure that all laboratory equipment is inspected on a routine
basis by competent personnel. This equipment includes: Safety equipment (eyewash units, safety showers,
chemical goggles, gloves, etc.); equipment requiring periodic calibration; hardware apparatus needed to set up
experiments; etc. Records in the form of inspection tags, stickers or logs will be maintained for all equipment.
