Job Title:
In Store Marketing Specialist
Job Purpose:
To deliver innovative, compelling and integrated In Store POS solutions that serve all formats of stores. To ensure all POS materials communicate a
consistent brand message with the ultimate objective to drive sales and margin across product, service, Rx and online. To support the In Store Marketing
Manager in managing the EPN promotional POS as part of the wider business promotional process and ensuring the best customer fit / journey for each
promotional period.
Support and establish the EPN franchise and co-op model with the Third Party CFBU.
Principle Accountabilities:
To work as part of the In Store Marketing team to develop innovative and
compelling In Store marketing solutions based on the agreed (EPN) marketing
Support the design and implementation of EPN POS across the role out of all EPN
To understand and interpret customer and competitor trends to ensure In Store
marketing activity is relevant and addresses customer motives
Project manage In Store marketing campaigns from initial idea to
implementation to deliver efficient and cost effective materials that meet the
needs of internal and external customers, maximise sales opportunities and
brand awareness objectives
Lead the development and implementation of ‘additional items’ to provide
appropriate level of In Store support for each product/service, promotional and
seasonal campaigns, external footfall driving activity and reactive trading
To ensure all POS materials clearly deliver the customer message through the
correct hierarchy of messaging, stimulating unplanned purchases and increasing
Investigate and implement process efficiencies for the In Store marketing
channel to ensure continuous improvement and new, more efficient ways of
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Previous In store marketing experience within a retail
Customer focused
Experience of working in a fast paced environment
(retail sector preferable)
Highly organised, with proven project management
Good communication skills
Good organization and time management
Problem solving and analytical skills
Relationship building skills
Knowledge of Design, Print and Production processes
Degree educated or equivalent
Pharmacy experience
Knowledge of ASA legal compliance
